2010 Entries have now closed

Entry Conditions - to apply, please go to the bottom of this page.

• You must be at least 16 or at most 19 years of age at any time in 2010.
• You must submit an Entry Application Form together with an Entry Fee as appropriate which should be sent to Storm the Stage directly either online (preferably) or by mail.
• You agree that any official photographs taken of you during any of the heats or finals may be used by Storm the Stage for publicity purposes for a period of five years. (You may wish to refer to our Privacy Policy).

Your Performance

• You must give a solo performance not lasting more than 5 minutes.
• Your selection should be from the established world repertoire in drama or musical theatre; you may not enter an original work. You may enter a selection in both categories.
• It must be performed in English.
• If you perform a musical theatre solo, you may have a live piano accompanist or provide a CD or DVD backing for the heats and semis.
• You provide your own performance costume and, if required, any props that can be brought onstage in less than 30 seconds. We can provide a chair and/or a small table if required.
• Avoid presenting material that risks causing offence in terms of language and subject. A copy of the text and/or lyrics of the piece you intend to perform should be submitted prior to your performance.

 You must perform the same piece in all heats and finals.

For the Heats, you will be required to introduce yourself to the audience, giving your name and the title and source of the material you are going to perform. This will enable the judges to differentiate between your true self and the character your portray.
