Morgan Cowling (2007 Finalist)
I’m excited! This is my final year to do Storm the Stage and it’s taken a lot of years to get here so I’m blown away. I feel unbelievably excited to perform at the Burswood.
Daniel Enright (2007 Finalist)
I'm absolutely stoked and defiantly surprised. I didn’t think I was going to get through; it’s amazing to get through. Every other time I have been knocked out in the first round. Even getting to the semis I was like ‘holy cow’. Performing at the burswood is going to be scary but I'm looking forward to it, its going to be amazing.
Julian Goncalves (2007 Finalist)
I’m stoked and very surprised to get through. The piece I picked was pretty hard but I picked it because it has a really good vocal range and I love Jesus Christ Super Star.
I was in the grand final last year and I thought performing at the burswood was really good. I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again!
Jamie Ward (2007 Finalist)
The grand final should be a complete competition to the max! Audience out there – be prepared!

I’m so excited to get through, because I’ve done this before, well two times before, but didn’t make it to the finals. It’s great to get through with my really good friends Daniel and Morgan and our friend Monty who I think has got through in Victoria. And now we’re all in the grand final!
Sonja Plummer – National Artistic Director 2007
I’m so glad I wasn’t judging that. I think our judges did a brilliant job in choosing the finalists but I do believe it was very tough. We have so many amazing performers on throughout the day
It has been a very long day but a very exciting day for many. A lot of work and preparation has gone into each performance so to not go through to the national grand final – I know there will be people who will feel a little sad. I need them to know that all that work and effort that we saw today is more than felt by the audience and everyone involved with Storm the Stage.

What a great opportunity! It's not every day you get the chance to fly across the breadth of Australia, let alone to do something you love with people who share your passion. To harp on the old adage: break those legs, everyone!
